this book has officially broken me。 the last 100 pages is just a slurry of emotions。 the writing is exquisite and makes you want to keep on reading。 i’m usually the type of person who reads a chapter or two a day but i read a majority of the book in the last two days。

Overly hyped book that I pushed myself to finish （audio version）。I thought some things were done well but I also thought other things were done poorly。 I did not like the relationship between Evelyn and Monique; Monique was such a wimp， always putting herself down for asking questions。The longer I made it through the book， the more uninterested I became in her never-ending love life and marriages。
